… Mr Ray Zhao has helped tremendously in my son's academic achievement and I am thankful for it. It was communicated to him before that as parents, we understand that our son is not very fluent in the Chinese language and in fact, is rather adverse towards it... After these few months of exposure, it is evident that my son is getting more confident academically and as a person. Mr Ray Zhao responses to WhatsApp timely and provides updates on my son's progress...

Mr Winston Lin is endearing to us as a mentor and elder brother figure. His humour and jokes are self-depreciating and yet they bring across learning points for being a grammar nazi and creative ways to construct linguistic sentences to best fit a funny scenario for theatre roleplay. Although he is a little eccentric and his teaching style can be unorthodox, he is best in a room where the students are keen to challenge themselves to reinvent their personality and language skills.

We would like to thank Ms. Tan Siew Fang for going the extra mile to provide one-on-one oral practice before my daughter's exam. She even arranged an online class and taught via Zoom despite being sick. She has proven to be a very dedicated and patient teacher. My daughter scored an A1 on her recent Chinese 'O' level paper, which we credit to her teaching. This marks a remarkable improvement for Bernadette. We are very grateful to have Ms. Tan as her teacher.

Ms. Huang is very conscientious in her teaching, and her caring ways towards the children always make me glad that I have entrusted Myra to her. She teaches well, ensuring that the children understand, and painstakingly calls me whenever Myra is late – which is often. However, she is always patient, and I truly appreciate her for that. She’s very encouraging to Myra and the children, even coming up with little rewards to spur them on to achieve higher grades by working more on their tasks. When Myra was preparing for her DSA and had to miss many lessons, Ms. Huang was understanding and tried really hard to ensure Myra wouldn’t miss out on the lessons by recording them for her.

Ms. Huang has been a very nurturing tutor… She is able to bring interest to my son in a way that we have not seen in previous tutors. In the time that Cheng Yang has with Ms. Huang, he has feedback that it has been a great experience and even expressed that he does not want to disappoint Ms Huang with poor results in his exams. As I was able to hear the lessons on speaker when she conducts lessons with him, I have observed that she has been very patient with him; often encouraging him to maximise his abilities…
